It is the policy of Fakenham Photosetting to upgrade both plant and software as regularly as possible so as to be able to respond rapidly to our clients requirements.
The bulk of our production is done on Macintosh Pro computers running the latest version of MacOSX. PC work is carried out on powerful PCs running WindowsXP and Vista. These machines are all networked to an Apple Xserve server capable of storing 3TB of data. The server is backed up every day and data taken off-site.
High speed colour proofing is carried out by our Xerox 240 and Canon CLC3200 while our monochrome needs are catered for by two Sharp AR-M550U machines. High quality, large format, colour accurate proofs are produced on our Kodak Matchprint 800 proofing system.
Scanning is carried out on our Epson Expression 10000 scanner.
We use a wide variety of software including Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office.
